How Can a Painful Lump On The Shin Be Treated?

Hi I hurt my shin 2 times over the past six months when doing box jump, the last time was in December. I still have a lump on my shin that do not want to go away. It is not painful unless I put pressure on it. Should I be worried to have a pretty large lump for several months now? Thanks

Hello,

It could be a hematoma or a contusion.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
